We will also be upgrading the local IT infrastructure (servers, storage, network gear) in the corporate/brokerage offices in 2011 and 2012. These local IT infrastructure upgrades will replace older, legacy-domain physical servers with new virtualized servers and storage appliances configured to new Cassidy Turley standards. These upgrades will provide improved performance, scalability and reliability for the next five or more years. IT will also upgrade the telephone and voicemail systems in many offices to new Cisco Systems IP telephones, connecting offices to the Cassidy Turley enterprise IP Telephony infrastructure. This upgrade will provide integration of different electronic messaging technologies into a single interface, call center management, expanded use of Voice-over-IP (VoIP), tight integration with Microsoft Outlook as well as providing instant messaging and integrated audio/video/web conferencing through Webex Connect.
