Project management is an essential component of our integrated, full service real estate platform. As of 2011, this business line represents over 100 professionals managing over 250 major projects and 4,600 minor ones, with an aggregate construction value of over $300 million.
We are one of the few full service real estate firms with an integrated, national project management practice. This national platform allows us to share best practices, training and technology among our professionals, who have an average of 18 years of industry experience.
Project and Development Services touches every service line in the company, and helps implement our clients' real estate objectives. More importantly, the group helps win new business; partnering with Project and Development Services helps Cassidy Turley sell a client's property, gain a tenant representation assignment, secure a management and leasing agreement, or win a Corporate Services account. Many recurring revenue projects managed by the group allow us to stay "first in mind" with our clients - driving future business opportunities.
Cassidy Turley has key Project and Development Services leaders in most offices throughout the US. In keeping with meeting the growing needs of our clients, the service line implemented a comprehensive talent management strategy, which allows us to quickly and accurately assign or recruit resources based on specific client demand. We have new practice leaders in the Northern California market (Jason Schlutt) and Charlotte/Raleigh (Andrew Laing), and are recruiting for additional positions to support Cassidy Turley offices in Southern California, Arizona and Dallas/Houston.
As the business line and the company grow, we want to continue to provide value-added integrated services to our clients and help other service lines win business. If our services or expertise is needed, please do not hesitate to reach out to me or our Project and Development Services professionals stationed around the country.
Our practice continues to grow, and is differentiated by four functional areas of expertise:
Cassidy Turley's clients span a wide spectrum of industries, geographies, business volume and real estate asset types. So in addition to our four broad service groups, the business line designates individuals who lead specialty groups that tie in with specialty brokerage team practices. Our specialty groups within Project and Development Services include:

How does brokerage contribute to our company's success? Brokerage activity represents the single largest contributor to our annual revenue and is an important priority of our growth strategy. In 2010 alone, our brokers completed transactions valued at over $17 billion. This number is considerably better than what we achieved in 2009 $13 billion. And these transactions represent an uptick in multi-market deals in the short time since we formed Cassidy Turley. As the markets recover, we will see even greater opportunities in the brokerage arena. Expanding our platform with the addition of new geographies will drive transaction revenue both locally and across the country. As we grow, we need all our brokers' help to continue identifying and attracting talented market, industry and community leaders to be part of our team and culture. Our goal is to continue to be a leading brokerage force in all the regions we serve.
